Step 1: Create Your Account
Begin the process by navigating to our secure account creation page: https://app.millybooks.com/create-account.
All you need at this stage is an email and, for your security, you’ll create a username and password. Your password must meet these requirements:
- Minimum of 8 characters
- Must contain at least one lowercase letter
- Must contain at least one uppercase letter
- Must contain at least one number
- Must contain at least one special character (e.g., !, @, #, $)

Your username will be displayed if you choose to create a marketplace listing later. To maintain privacy, do not use your email address or any business-identifying information in your username.
This allows you maximum control over when and how you reveal your identity. You can always share personal contact information within direct messages later if you choose.
Step 2: Verify Your Email Address
After submitting your initial details, you will receive a verification code sent to the email address you provided.
Check your inbox (and perhaps spam folder) for this email. Enter the verification code on the Milly Books screen to confirm your email address.

Step 3: Log In for the First Time
You will be directed to the log-in screen. Enter the email address and the secure password you just created.

Quick Onboarding (Just 2-5 Minutes!)
Once logged in, you’ll go through a brief onboarding flow. This takes only 2-5 minutes and helps us tailor the platform experience to your needs. You can always update this information later in the “Account” section. The onboarding steps include:

Specify your role (e.g., agent, agency owner) to help us personalize your journey and present the most relevant tools and features, preventing information overload.

Step 2: Provide Your Basic Information
We’ll need (these are required) some foundational personal and agency information, such as your name, phone number, and agency name. Including a link to your agency’s website is optional but recommended.

Step 3: Provide Your Address
Enter your address to enable location-specific opportunity matching.

Step 4: Additional Information That Helps with Setup
Provide details about your experience, your national producer number (NPN), and the Agency Management Systems (AMS) you use. If your AMS isn’t listed, scroll down and choose “Other.” If you don’t use an AMS, choose “Other – Paper Based.”
We also need to know if you are a member of any associations or networks as this can impact your transaction options.
This information is valuable as it unlocks key features of the platform for you and helps us prioritize future AMS integrations.

This is a crucial step to personalize your journey. Indicate your primary interests by selecting whether you are focused on Buying, Selling, Valuation, or Not Sure Yet if you’re just exploring. Select all that apply.

Based on the information you provide, Milly Books immediately guides you toward the most relevant sections of the platform.
If you’re interested in selling, you’ll be directed toward tools to value your book or create your first listing. If you’re a buyer, you’ll be prompted to build your comprehensive Buyer Profile.
